CorTech earns number 11 on the SIA Diversity Staffing largest US companies.
Key Findings
• This report highlights 133 U.S. companies that self-identified as having ownership that is women owned, minority owned or other diversity category owned. This year’s report features 86 women owned firms, 58 minority owned firms, 10 veteran owned firms and 4 Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) firms.
• Staffing firms with diversity ownership may be eligible to bid on certain “set-aside” supplier contracts with the federal government and state governments. Many opportunities also require the supplier to qualify as a “small business.” Currently, temporary staffing firms with average revenue of less than $27.5 million over their last three fiscal years meet the Small Business Administration (SBA) criteria for a “small business.” More information can be found at www.sba.gov and www.va.gov/osdbu.
• In addition, staffing firms with diversity ownership may be attractive to large private organizations that buy staffing services and that have procurement goals regarding spend with various categories of diversity owned suppliers.
• In this report we display 133 diversity staffing firms in three sections according to the size of their 2015 staffing revenue: Firms with more than $100 million in revenue (20 firms); firms with between $10 million and $100 million in revenue (68 firms); and firms with less than $10 million in revenue (45 firms). We have listed firms with more than $100 million in order of revenue size, while firms appear in alphabetical order in the other two sections. Revenue figures displayed are estimated by Staffing Industry Analysts.
• In terms of largest staffing segment by revenue for firms listed in this report, we note that the most common skill segments were the following: IT staffing (43 firms), office/clerical staffing (20 firms), healthcare staffing (18 firms) and industrial staffing (15 firms).
