Holly Moore, Director of Human Resources
Holly Moore has an Associates (AA) Johnson & Wales University Paralegal Studies, a Bachelor's (BS) Wilmington University Legal Studies, and has a Postgraduate Certificate (27 credits) Wilmington University Legal Studies. Holly also has an IRS PTIN certification, w/ special certifications in Small business, retirement, and Military, DOL Benefit Accuracy Measurement auditor certification, SHRM CP certification, and she is a GA Notary Public.
Holly joined CorTech in September 2017. She was a Ryder Logistics Fuel tax compliance lead prior to coming to Cor-Tech. Prior to that Holly worked for the DOL as a Labor Law Adjudicator, and Auditor for 4 years. Holly worked for H&R Block for 5 tax seasons part time prior, and she was a stay at home mom for 15 years.
Holly is a native New Englander and grew up in R.I., lived in VA for 6 yrs, then DE for 17 Moved to Milton GA in 2015.
Holly has 3 girls ages 26, 24, and 20 and a Golden Retriever and Mike (3 yrs).
Holly concentrated in Wills, Trusts, Probate, Real Estate and Employment law in school. Her experience w/ H & R Block led her to be more interested in Employment Law and taxation. Holly learned a great deal while working for the DOL as an adjudicator and federal auditor, and eventually became BAM (benefit accuracy measurement) certified in 2014. This "backdoor" knowledge is helpful in keeping Cor-tech compliant, and knowing what auditors are looking for and how to avoid a DOL audit.
In addition, Holly is a SHRM-CP certified and keeps up to date on changing laws, regulations and H.R. topics and trends. Holly's passion is benefits, compliance and employee engagement. Holly hopes to continue to make H.R. informative, approachable to all Cor-tech employees (Internal and contractors and instill a small company feel in the growing company we are.
